All Is Well With The Cosmos

I’ve been gaming for a long time. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by video games. I used to watch my brother play RPGs and I remember playing Sonic 2 and Samurai Showdown on the Sega Genesis when I was around 3 years old. I love video games! Hahaha. I know that console wars are nothing new, I mean it’s been apparent ever since the Atari 2600, Colecovision, Intellivision, etc… in the early 80s. The only thing that separates it from now, is that 2 of the 3 gaming giants(I’m excluding PC for now.): Sony and Microsoft, basically have two powerhouse systems. Look how are gaming has come: HD graphics, motion control, more interactive gameplay, and all of that. The thing that pisses me off is the fanbase for both systems.

I don’t really see hardcore Nintendo fans who say the Wii is the best because let’s be honest, Nintendo is just trying to be innovative these days. Anyway, being the gamer that I am, I appreciate both systems and if I could, I’d want to own both. Both have their ups and downs. Another thing that pisses me off is the whole cross-platform hating on which game version is better(this mostly applies to the stupidass community in Call of Duty). If you’re good at a game, chances are is that you’ll be good on the other system as well. It’s the same thing. It sucks to see the video game industry the way it is right now. We should be worrying about the quality of games being put out these days, the stupidass DLC that’s ALREADY IN THE DISC, and how is the gaming industry going to survive these next couple decades. 

That being said, PC gaming is not dead and I love the PC. Just don’t be all elitest about it, lolololz.

Btw, I’d totally love to start commentating over video games or do Let’s Plays. Idk how to start though. Hahahaha. Maybe play RPGs or something.

Here’s something I found on Reddit this morning. A giant .gif full of cat versions of the original 151 Pokemon, all made by the original creator of Nyan Cat. Fun to watch and cute as Hell. Also, take note it’s meant to be played with the song over at this page for full effect.

Today I learned how to read in binary and convert it into ASCII(I think, lol. I know how to convert it to decimals.)

My nigga JPPNESS helped me get some of the basics of League of Legends. I can totally see myself playing this all day. LAN PARTY ANYONE?! Hahahaha.

Slowly learning on how to customize my laptop. It’s awesome because I have what I want. Facebook feed on my desktop? Yeap. Google news feed? Yeap. Mini calendar, battery app, and iTunes app that shows what songs playing even if I don’t have window open? Yeap. Oh, and backgrounds that change every 10 minutes? Dopeness. Hahaha. 

I’m such a nerd, but I love it.

customized my desktop on my laptop. Hahaha. Rocketdock so no more shortcut icons and Rainmeter so I have feeds/apps on my desktop. 

And I’m diggin’ it. Hahaha. Nothing like getting immersed in A TOTAL FANTASY WORLD WHERE YOU CONTROL ALMOST EVERYTHING! Psh, you don’t control much when playing games. Pretty much only control the characters. Hahaha. I haven’t really been doing anything else besides school, but the classes aren’t even that bad.
